According to this article from KYW Newsradio in Philadelphia, plans for the new Comcast Center tower to be built in Center City call for waterless urinals. The urinals save water and they also use less plumbing than the traditional urinals [translation, less work for plumbers]. A city hall source says the plumbers union is “dragging its feet” as the developer seeks the necessary change to the city building code to allow the new devices.
